Anyone watching the Devils/ Islanders game?
Islanders need the win to go to the playoffs... Leafs need the Devils to win to go to the playoffs.
The Islanders were up 2-1 and the Devils tied it up with 0.9 seconds left on the clock!!!!! HOLY MAKINAW! :woo
We're engrossed in overtime. :eek
toque, too bad the Leafs didn't make the playoffs. We need more Canadian teams in the 2nd season!

I agree, Jay. :( Looks like Ottawa, Calgary and Vancouver?
I'll probably get behind Buffalo though... always end up doing that.

I was so hoping the Rangers would fall apart and the Leafs and Montreal would sneak in. Oh well, my Canucks clinched first place in the Northwest, so you guys are welcome to jump on our bandwagon!

KF, I'd love to but I fear a US team (Anaheim, SJ, Detroit, Nashville) will win it. Go Ottawa!
Here are the Round 1 matchups. Who do you predict will win each series?
1) NYI vs BUF
2) TB vs NJ
3) NYR vs ATL
4) PIT vs Ott
5) CAL vs DET
6) MIN vs ANA
7) DAL vs VAN
8) SJ vs NAS
1) Buffalo should dispose of NYI quickly.
2) NJ - never underestimate Martin Brodeur.
3) NYR - the Rangers have players who can score.
4) OTT - This isn't Sidney's year to shine in the playoffs.
5) DET - #1 overall; enough said.
6) MIN - This is my upset pick. #7 seed Min to defeat #2 Anaheim.
7) VAN - Luongo will be the difference.
8) NAS - too close to call; Nashville may advance to the Cup finals.
1) NYI vs BUF
2) TB vs NJ

11:30 PM on the west coast and Vancouver and Dallas are in triple overtime!!
ETA: 12:30 AM - Quadruple overtime!!?!
ETA: 12:34 AM - Whoohoo!:eek :woo :crazy :love
Round 2:
1) NYR vs BUF
2) VAN vs ANA
3) OTT vs NJ
4) SJ vs DET
1) BUF is too fast, too skilled for NY.
2) Luongo will have to play his best for VAN to advance.
3) Emery vs Brodeur? Unfortunately Brodeur is paid to stop the puck and not score. Ottawa to win in 6 games.
4) This may be the best series in Round 2. Detroit should prevail.
The Sens are in the final. The Cup should be coming back to Canada!

Where are we with this Stanley Cup? Last I saw, Denny Crane, of Boston Legal fame had dropped the thing off his office balconey :lol
Erika, I think it will be repaired in time to present it to the winning team. :lol
What has happened to the Ottawa Senators, down 2-0 to Anaheim?

Go Ducks! I wouldn't mind the Sens winning, but I am happy that the Ducks are doing well so far. It's not over yet though obviously.
Congratulations to The Ducks! The far better team won the Cup. Maybe next year, Sens...
