The race continues in Ghana, where some teams are stumped by a deceptively simple quiz and one person requires medical attention because of the punishing heat.
Who wants to bet Nick & Vicki isn't one of the teams stumped by the quiz? :lol
Has a non-elimination leg ever appeared this early into a season?

It did seen very early in the race.
Wow, all the tasks this episode were SO straight forward and at some point ALL of the team really messed up.
The best part was Brook and Claire, and Chad and Stephanie circling the children and drawing a big circle around them in the dirt :rofl
It was too bad though in a viewer perspective that we onyl saw Conner and Jonathan solve the world puzzle. It would have been fun to hear more descriptions of the symbols (kidney bean, chinese, ladder etc.)

Season 6 and season 16 had a NEL at the fourth episode. I could see it making sense here, with all the teams giving back to the community the next day by helping with some renovations.
Anytime there isn't a plane involved it is usually a NEL.

Technically the first leg in Season 15 was a NEL too.
Next week should be fun :D
