I'm calling it. Chad & Stephanie will finally go tonight.
Another watermelon challenge forces Claire to give up the fruit forever. :giggle

Brook and Claire's reaction to getting 4th place was hilarious.
Brook and Claire: "The po po came" :lol
:( Sad to see Gary and Mallory go.
Nick is back to his harsh ways. :down

Aw, why'd Gary & Mallory have to leave? :( they were my favorites.

I too was quite attached to Gary & Mallory, so I'm very sad they were eliminated. However, I like Nat & Kat even more so I'm glad they are still in it.

When it came down to Brook & Claire, Nat & Kat and Gary & Mallory a small part of me died inside. :lol

I know! They are my favorite teams!
So sad Gary & Mallory were eliminated :( Top 2 teams are my top 2 least favorite teams.

I like Nat and Catt, but I like Gary and Mallory a bit more, so I was pretty disappointed.

:yeahthat
My ideal final 3 would have been Nat and Kat, Brook and Claire and Gary and Mallory.

I'm kind of over Brook and Claire. They're sort of annoying. It would be great for an all female team to win though, so I wouldn't mind them sticking around.

I'm just so sad I could cry. :cry
My favourite team gone and I just have no attachment to any of the other teams. Nick and Vicki a little I guess and I can handle Nat and Kat winning, but otherwise... just meh.
It may become a matter of simply rooting against Chad and Thomas. I just don't want either of them to win. And I just don't want to see Brook's reaction if she won. She's getting to the point of scaring me a little.
I will miss Mallory's wide-eyed enthusiasm.

Ugh! The volleyball girls are ridiculous.
I've never watched the elimination station videos before. They're kind of interesting. But also kind of boring.

My least favorite team is Nick/Vicky. What Nick said to Vicky in that car was worse than all things Chad and Tomas have said so far imo.
I was pulling a facepalm when Chad asked Steph :lol Just couldn't watch it :lol

Yeah, I actually agree that the things Nick says are a lot worse than the other guys. I think Thomas is actually the least bad, although the stuff he says is dismissive and superior so he seems like a jerk (or rather, is a jerk) but I don't think he is as mean as Nick (or Chad actually)
One thing I liked about this episode (about just every episode, really) was the way the racers need to interact with the locals and learn a bit about them in the process. Since there's so much distrust in certain circles of muslim middle east countries right now, I just thought it was good to go into a country like Oman and show how it has great people living there, just like everywhere else. Jill and Thomas kept raving about how nice the people were.

I love this aspect of the race as well.
I really didn't know much about Oman before this leg and from what I saw the country looks very well off and clean and the people seem friendly. So not only are the racers seeing the world, the viewers get to see the world without the media flooding us with stereotypes.
Seeing how the residents of Oman need to arrange water deliveries made me deeply appreciate the public utilities of my city.

I know! We are very privileged to have such an easy and constant access to water.
