Someone needs to tell Troyzan that he is not Dick Donato and that Allison Grodner is not in charge

:loveStill love Troy. Not like he's insulting anyone. It's refreshing seeing someone that invested in the game that will truly do whatever it takes to win. As much as I like Kim, it will suck to see worthless players like Tarzan/Christina/Alicia get further than him.

:lol:lolat Kat not knowing bacon is in a BLT

:raisebrowAnd WTF was with Tarzan giving Leif a bath

IMO acting the way he did is not doing what ever it takes to win the game.

Obviously Kim is doing what it takes to win the game to sitll be in control of the vote without being a jerk to everyone.

If Troyzan was willing to play the game he wouldnt be in the position he is in and would be acting like such a sore loser

The Survivor auction is always my favorite challenge of the season but I wish there were more covered bad items.

I don't see the girls banding together to take out Kim. Many of them think that they are going with Kim to the final. My prediction for the final is Kat, Chelsea and Kim.

That was funny! :lol

It was some sort of opposites day on the island I thought. Sabrina and Chelsea being more annoying than Alicia, who wouldn't give up more than a couple of hundreds for peanut butter and chocolate but went all out on letters from home :up. Not to mention, defending Christina of all people at the start of the episode :lol Still dislike her, but just found everything weird and funny.

Loved Troy this episode, he was a little too much for me too right after winning Immunity, but I loved his speech about just being competitive and being himself. So glad he won immunity but also that Kim got to stay. I'm officially one of her biggest fans now. Loved her suggesting to keep things simple, and her not being offended by Troy's antics, unlike Sabrina and Chelsea. Cool and collected.

TC was awesome. Sabrina as 'Mrs. Truth' and Chelsea with her cute 'if you don't win immunity, we vote you out' speech. :lol Troy owned them, although I guess he didn't get the last laugh.

All in all, love the energy of this episode.

It made me happy for someone to finally identify exactly the right people and to present exactly the right argument to them. They didn't go along with it (though they totally should have), but at least Troy gave it a good try and did exactly what I was wishing someone would for the last three episodes or so.
Troy was a little over the top and maybe making friends would be wiser than getting mad at everyone. But its a lot easier to play it cool and be nice if you're Sabrina or Kim or Chelsea and you have lots of allies and you're not having to fight for your life. I can't really blame Troy for being mad when Chelsea is telling him that he should just go out and take it like a man like Jonas did.

.

Ya too bad he went along with giving up immunity which gave the women the numbers and then sat back while Kim was the one who built relationships to get the upper hand in the game. There is a reason those three girls dont have to fight for their lives right now.

Sorry IMO nothing Troyzan did tonite was good game play it was the obvious last chance hail mary.

Oh I agree that what he has done up until now is what has put him in the hole he's in now. He hasn't been playing smart, thats for sure. And tonight looks like it was too little too late because he didnt play better ealier. But I still feel, aside from a too agressive and angry attitude, he did everything right tonight. He made sure he got the advantage in the auction, he won Immunity, he tricked the women into thinking he found the idol, and he correctly identified every person who is in the lower half of the pecking order. Alicia and Tarzan are the ones playing badly now, because they really would have had a better chance by breaking up Kim's crew.

:yeahthat I agree with all of this.

Some people in this game don't seem to care :/ I mean, Leif, Tarzan, and Christina had a lot to gain by teaming up. They don't see what we see, but they still know for a fact that when Troyzan is gone they are the next in line. Leif and Tarzan even talked about one of them going home tonight. They have "I don't care about winning" written all over them, it's kinda disappointing. Alicia is a different story, I think she'd be the fifth wheel with either side honestly.

Agree agree with the majority opinion here. We've complained how Christina and Leif have sort of sucked up to the ones in power. Christina didn't stand up for herself when Monica was blindsided, and melted back into the game. I guess it wasn't bad strategy for her at the time as she's still in it, but it's fun to see someone finally having that strong fight in them. I don't think it honestly hurts Troy too much, since IF he gets to the end, he'll probably have about the same number of votes. If his plan worked tonight and he got to the end with any of the 4 he wanted to align with, he would win. Jonas, Jay and Mike are sure votes for him. I think Kim, who is again pretty awesome (:giggle) I definitely can see voting for the best player. I think one or two more girls could also be swayed depending on who he's against. That's partly why I liked his speech about competitiveness and being himself. I thought it felt sincere enough that it won't be held against him for long, except by maybe Chelsea or something :lol

Also agree that before this round, Troy hasn't been very strategic. He's better compared to the other guys, but the girls really outsmarted all of them, not anyone's fault that he's in that position but his own (well actually, he can partly blame all the other guys :lol). Unless he wins the next few immunities, it might be too late. However, 100% better than being meek and humble and looking like a suck up, or a sneaky player like Leif seemed to have looked to the other players.

I disagree with most of the opinions here. I feel like for Alicia, it would be going from 5th with an all girl's alliance to flipping to probably 5th in an alliance with an obvious jury and immunity threat in Troyzan, although Troyzan may have decreased his status as a jury threat this episode :p

And so if Alicia's not on board, the plan can't go through, so there's no sense in alienating yourself by voting Kim if she's not going to go home anyway.

I thought Alicia did make a mistake at tribal by pretty much telling the other girls that she's fine with flipping but just wants to wait for the best moment to.

Yeah, I agree, that wouldn't have made too much sense. On the other hand, the looks on Leif's and Tarzan's faces were quite telling IMO. They didn't look like they cared or had any sort of interest in going with Troy. They were just sort of like, "oh, yeah, that may not be too bad". Haven't seen THEM fight, only Troy fought. They could have given it a shot, they know for a fact they are the next two to go. A million dollar is on the line, hello?

Especially Leif is just.... weird. Him agreeing to give away immunity pre-merge showed like he was completely indifferent about potentially going home the week after, and now again he doesn't seem to care at all. Maybe he's just a joke like Greg in season 1 xD The paint on his face? xD

True, true. Leif especially has pretty much been clueless the entire game, and Tarzan's not a lot better. But I agree that the fact that they've just seem to have given up entirely is worse than the fact they're not playing smart.

I think the last chance to turn things around is at F7, but since I think both Kat and Sabrina think they're F3 (I don't know who Kim actually wants as F3) I doubt they could get four votes at that point.

I do think that Alicia and Christina could have improved their chances by flipping over to Troy because Kim/Chelsea etc are a very established alliance which isn't going to change. A Troy/Tarzan/Leif/Christina/Alicia alliance has nothing set in stone, there is no established pecking order. If you were willing to fight hard you would have more potential of getting to the top half of that alliance. Also, you could ride both alliances - flipping back and forth between them as you needed to. Neither side would target you because they would both recognize that they needed your vote. In that way you could whittle down each side and improve your standing.

:rofl

I was not a fan of Troy's nonsense. Kim really is running this whole thing. I would hate an immunity run from Troy to get him in the finals. When Kim really was running the show.

Well, if that happened it would force Kim to make some tougher decisions and really show that she can play this game. The way it has been its been like taking candy from a series of babies which isn't that impressive.

I don't think it's as easy as Survivor is showing it. Tarzan's an anomaly, but I think for the rest, they've been given a reason to vote with Kim. It's not so easy handling that big of a group and for her to always seem to divide the votes takes great leadership and control. At the very least, she seems to have an outstanding social game. We're not just being given an 'edit' too, since Troy and a bunch of the evicted guys have mentioned Kim as the smartest or biggest threat. I also want Troy there because of the threat he poses, more exciting game, I just also think Kim hasn't been up against babies :lol, she seems to have made them act like babies more like for me.

Also with someone mentioning about it harder for Troy to keep his cool and easier for the ladies, I kind of disagree that it's really harder. I think it's slightly harder, however, with a million bucks as motivation, I think everyone in the game should be able to keep focus. I love Troy's energy in the episode, it was different from what we've been seeing here and in plenty of past seasons. I don't see it also as completely detrimental to him, like Lan said also, he's a big threat, he just made himself slightly less so by being unlikable. However, in general, he shouldn't really find it hard to calm himself. He should be able to understand the rationale of the lying and wanting him out, he's done the blindside plenty of times himself. In fact, he was super stoked to do it to Matt in the first couple of rounds. I think he's being partly strategic and partly emotional. Love the strategic and entertainment aspects of it :lol

I'm totally bored with this season. I don't really care for anybody that's left in the game right now.
