Do you have a song that you come back to for 'inspiration' when you need it?
Long story short, I watched a stage musical dvd this weekend, and remembered I had one.
It was very important to me several years ago. I was very frightened to start my own home business (consulting/programming) several years. A business associate and my husband keep telling me it was time to- but I was not a risk taker in any form of the word. Then I came across this song -
"THIS IS THE MOMENT" - I first heard it one time during a televised ice skaing competion and went and looked it up. It is from the musical Jekyll & Hyde.
I played this repeatedly - it became my strength to make the move from a lifetime in a cubicle to being my own boss.
You should listen to it - I'm sure it is out there somewhere on the web.
Its a very powerful song - and gives me a feelling of power.
I need to listen again - when I am having a tendency to let life give me a beating.
