Well, I'm going to cheer for the Canadiens on this one. Partly, so you can get the cash, though it would take a miracle. :lol And partly because I will cheer for any chance to have the cup in Canada. Is Calgary our only other hope?

The same thing also happened in 1994 when Vancouver lost game 7 of the Stanley Cup finals. I think it can happen when a lot of people get together, some of whom are drunk, some of whom are overly emotional.

Yeah, it wasn't until the two teams matched up in the final that I realized how superior Detroit was. Pittburgh did alright to win a couple though and I expect they'll be back in the next few years.
The worst news I heard about the NHL this morning was that the Hockey Night in Canada theme song may be dropped to "go in a new direction." :speechless Blasphemy!

I stayed up and watched that triple OT game, but I sure did pay for it the next day. :lol The Red Wings are tough to beat, and the Pens have nothing to be ashamed of. I'm so proud of them, and they put on one heck of a show this year for being such a young team.

Congrats to the Red Wings and their fans. Hopefully, we will get you next year, you turkeys. :D
