5/19 Dancing with the Stars Discussion

The tenth and final round of competition for the sixth season includes Kristi, Jason, Cristian and their partners each dancing the cha-cha in quick succession. Also: a freestyle routine.

So by the way it sounds, even though it's a group number, they will be scored individually when each couple has the chance to showcase what they got. It's just one long song, like a musical guest number. This actually sounds really fun to watch. I wonder what song they're going to dance to?

I think Cristian and Jason should have been even in the scoring - but there is no way Kristi loses --- 8 points is a HUGE difference -- that's A LOT of votes to make up for.

I think it will be Kristi/Mark = 1st and Jason/Edyta 2nd

Okay, honestly, this is like the first episode of Dancing with the Stars that I have watched all season, but I will comment:

The big, buff male was DEAD while he danced, with no emotion. It was like watching the practice run-through of him learning the dance with all of the gizmos turning in his head.

The best couple was DEFINITELY Kristi Yamaguchi and her partner. That dance where they were going crazy in the pin striped suit or whatever they were wearing (the first one I think), it was so active, so much fun, so much energy! I loved it!

The last couple seemed amateurish in a different sense than the big buff guy. They seemed almost sloppy.

Just comments from a fresh perspective. Probably my first and last time watching the show, but I just feel that the judges are REALLY pushing for the one couple to win, when they sort of unfairly positioned the other couples against them (one of them more deserving in my opinion).

Go Yamaguchi! :woo Definitely, DEFINITELY the most deserving.

I'd agree with your comments, Davis. I'm not sure what the deal with Jason's freestyle, it didn't show him to his best advantage. I think he's usually better than that. Kristi definitely outshone the boys. I hope she wins it.
