Sabrina Sloan at American Idol Press Conference After Elimination

Sabrina hadn't prepared herself for going home, partly because the judges told her that she was going to be in the Top 12 and maybe America thought she was safe. The judges do influence America's vote and she thinks that maybe they should be more careful about what they say but that they didn't mean for her to end up being voted off. In her case, she didn't really appreciate Simon's "hotel" comment. Being lumped in with the other big voiced, diva-type singers probably hurt her as well. Despite being eliminated, she doesn't think that her song choice was bad and she feels good about all of the choices she made during the competition.

It's really hard for her thinking about not being able to be on the Diana Ross episode. As for her favorite performance, she thinks that the girls always do fantastically well and that a girl will win this year. She hinted at Melinda being her favorite but she wouldn't predict who would win it all. Though she's not in Hairspray anymore, she's definitely thinking of a solo career but would also go back to Broadway. Though she has a waiting period before she can move on with other offers, she definitely has some things on the table.

Robbed! Entirely, 100% Robbed! :cry

Sabrina deserved to be in the Final 12 this year! She really did, she was definitely in the Top 6 for me singers wise.

Though I am sad that she is gone, I hope her career prospers out of this experience! I know it was very early in the competition to be eliminated, but with a voice like hers, I think she still has a chance. GO Sabrina! :)

I echo your sentiment entirely Davis. The fact that Sabrina is out and Haley ScarSUCKO is in the top 12 is disgraceful.

I actually think that of the four diva's in the top 24 - the one that wouldn't have made it should have been Stephanie. I thought Sabrina was probably the 3rd best singer in the competition behind LaKisha and Melinda....

It is a shame that she didn't make the top 12, but I suspect we haven't heard the last from her!

She was mediocre to me. She has a powerful voice, but lacked control of it. Also, I remember when she performed in week #2, I was wondering who she was. I didn't remember her at all.

I agree that she was one of the weaker divas, but Haley making it over her is just ridiculous. But I full knew something like this was going to happen -- the divas split votes!!!

Stephanie & Jordin I'm afraid are still in alot of trouble since the diva votes will likely favor LaKisha and Melinda. :(

Yeah, I agree with you E-Daddy. She definitely was better than Haley.
