I hear Zodiac is long and boring. That's the review I hear most often, though I have talked to one person who liked it, but the majority says otherwise in my experience.
I haven't seen the movie, and I still sort of want to, but can any of you reinforce the reviews?

I actually saw it and really enjoyed it...but then again this is exactly the kind of criminal stuff that interests me. I thought the acting was excellent, but really liked getting a real look at the case on the big screen.

I lived through the time of the Zodiac Killer. As I did with the Manson killings and Ted Bundy, and John Wayne Gacy.
Davis, if you keep in mind that this actually happened and this killer has still never been caught, it's not boring at all.
I personally think Zodiac is dead, or at least so old he can't continue his killings. Zodiac is the "American Jack The Ripper". I don't think we'll ever know who the real Zodiac was or the real Jack the Ripper.
Or what happened to Amelia Earhart or what happened to the people of the Roanoke Island Coloney. So many mysteries to solve. And so fun to try to solve them!
No matter how long the movie or what the critics say, watch it for yourself and decide for yourself. I care less about what the critics or what other people say about a movie. Everything in life is your own choice, like it or don't like it, do it or don't do it, eat it or don't eat it, watch it or don't watch it. See what I mean???

Bambi you may enjoy this movie - it shows a lot about the real life investigation that was done and probably much of it never was released at the time it was happening.
It really was fascinating to see all the evidence they did have and the fact that they never brought charges against their suspect.
I LOVED Robert Downey, Jr's character in the film too - really well done.

Erika, back then, I swear, it was so often that they seemed to have tons of evidence and did nothing about it. It still bothers me how long it took them to get Ted Bundy and John Wayne Gacey! However, one state could have the "evidence" but if the "criminal" got out of that state..well it took awhile.
It basically took phone calls back then. But, they did get them!!
