I liked this episode a lot too! I'm deathly afraid of birds...so releasing those pigeons would've been a bit hard for me How did nobody eat waffles?!

I have been fasicnated with birds lately! We have a bunch of pigeons downtown where I work. I think it is really pretty watching them fly together. Especilaly when the sun hits the bottom of them and the white feathers on them shimmer! My co-worker thinks I'm nuts!

The other day I was watching them fly and then they went to land on a building and BAM you could hear them take off. Then I see some kind of hawk heading for them. I see hawks all the time but this hawk is smaller than the normal ones I see. Havent seen them before and saw them for the first time a couple weeks ago. Might be a falcon but dont think we have those here

Then again didnt think we had seagulls in Nebraska but right after the earthquake in Japan I was walking to work and looked up and saw a bunch of seagulls flying above the pigeons

so yeah I am fascinated by birds

As for the show I think I need t pray because I was jealous of the snowboarders winning the mustangs! I knew that was gonna be the prize once I saw the challenge

To some people this won't mean much but to those who competed in the Google-topic...

The Atomium....

With respect to Belgian / Brussels landmarks, need I say more?

Other than that : Bye gramps... You had a good race much better than most people (including me) gave you credit for!

Jazzed, were you the greeter standing beside Phil?

I liked how a number of racers mispronounced "proving".

Better never watch the old Hitchcock classic then NYU.
And yeah, no waffles, what's up with that?! I expected like a pile of waffles eating-challenge in the Atomium or something like that.

I did recognize the Atomium for the google earth thread. I'm a bit annoyed because I set my pvr to record the show and it recorded most of 60 Minutes and about 5 minutes only of the beginning of TAR. When I came in and saw what it was doing I caught the last 10 minutes or so, so I saw how it ended. I guess something ran long

I thought Bill and Cathy had a good chance to make the finals. They really were strong racers.

KF, football always delays TAR on CBS. CTV is the answer!

Tangent: Seasons 3 and 4 are available on DVD from Amazon.com.

I was going to say the same thing as Jay. You're better off relying on the Canadian channel, not the American one due to football. The only thing is once in a while (rarely), TAR plays at 7pm on the Canadian channel if there is an award show.

Yeah, it's late every effing week by various amounts of time. I always record to show after it too to make sure we catch the whole thing. If only I actually did watch The Good Wife...

Usually, by the time it plays on the west coast its not late anymore. Plus I usually watch it on CTV. But this time I thought I would be clever and record an earlier, Eastern one. I didnt really notice what channel it was but it must have been the American channel

I made kind of a similar mistake, kungfu.

We got home 15 minutes after it started so we flipped to the american station... "60 minutes" said it would air TAR FOLLOWING the show. (we've had this before and waited so we could watch the whole thing.) When 60 minutes ended, they went straight to a movie! We missed the entire TAR, and if we had just watched it on the Canadian station we could have at least watched the 45 minutes. I was ticked!!
