It‘s Sad When The Best Houseguest Is A Fake Robot Greetings my loyal minions, Maxx Fisher here, The producers of Big Brother are lying liars that lie. There is almost nothing that appears on a Wednesday episode that is real. When the nominations stay the same they fabricate a storyline that makes it seem like some huge shift is going to take place. The thing is, it never does. They must comb through hours and hours of footage to get snippets of conversations, some that took place weeks before, to support what story they want. But tonight there was actually some truth in what they implied. I know, I’m shocked too. But more on that later. It's Not My Fault No Matter What I Said Obviously the episode began with the aftermath of the nominations. Wil can barely hide is disdain for…everyone in the house, except maybe Ashley. He can’t believe Frank had the nerve to put him up. This always makes me laugh, as if someone in the house had an obligation to help someone else win. Dan on the other hand just about knew this was all a plot to backdoor him. Dan is slowly becoming more & more like Boogie. Frank spoke to Joe in the storage room and told him that he was not the target and he needed to be cool for the week. Joe of course screamed at us that he was going to have to fight to save himself which is just a mistake. But you can’t blame him, is he supposed to just take Frank at his word that he is going to be safe? Boogie talks to Wil in the Arcade room and assures him that he is not the target. Boogie likes telling people they are safe and then voting them out. Boogie even suggests that Wil should pick him for the Veto. Wil tells us in the DR that he is not buying any of this. I really, really can’t wait for Wil to be voted out so that he can go back & see that his mouth put him out the door. He just had to let Frank & Boogie know he was smarter than them. If he was so smart he would have just shut his yap and flew under the radar for the week. Not Getting Any Less Crazy Remember when I mentioned that one time that Danielle is a psychopath? Well Shane knows it now too. Britney asks him what’s up with the 2 of them and he basically drops the hammer…when she’s not around. He says he likes her as a friend, but has no interest in having a relationship and that she likes him more than he likes her. He feels like he can’t talk to other girls in the house with her around. I wonder if Danielle will be devastated when she gets out of the house and sees all of this or will she be puzzled and not see what everyone else is say. Time for the Veto. Shane is automatically playing because of the Veto Ticket he won. Frank picks Jenn. Joe gets Houseguest’s Choice and picks Ashley and Wil get Boogie. Oh Sweet Irony. Wil is disgusted that Joe picked Ashley because her back “hurts”. Still not buying it. It was smart on Joe’s part picking someone that says she can barely move because this helps his odds in the game. Frank chooses Ian to hot but he is quickly overshadowed by a new arrival in the house, The Zingbot. Now The Show Is Entertaining Yes the Zingbot is back and the house was actually amusing and interesting for a few minutes. As soon as SHE got their the zings began: Ashley: Your smile lights up the room too bad it’s the only thing about you that's bright Shane: My 5 year old niece called, she wants her pink tank top back Britney I have a half million dollars to donate, please tell me more about the charity you gave yours to, I think it was called the Brigade Joe: How does it feel to be the old man of the house, oh sorry Boogie, I didn't see you there Ian: for a chemical engineering student its amazing how little chemistry you have with the ladies Jenn you have a lot in common in with a gossip magazine you are both covered in bad ink Frank little Orphan Annie would Apreec if you would stop stealing her hairdo Danielle I hear Shane is going to give you a special gift after the season, a restraining order. ![]() ![]() These Pipes are CLEEEAAANNNN!!! The Zingbot wanted a Baby Zingbot and the winner of the Veto competition would make this happen. Not like that, get your minds out of the gutter. The object of the comp was to build a kind of pipe maze from one end of the game area to the other. Then you would have to move a ball through the pipes to the end using a magnet. Boogie was a mess and was asking Ian for help. This annoyed Wil, he just wanted them to stop making noise. Oddly enough he didn’t seem to have a problem with Britney helping Shane. None of that mattered because Frank won easily and Zingbot Jr. was born. This is the third time this season that the HOH also won the Veto. Fun fact, is was so hot on Saturday that the woman in the Zingbot suit (no that is not a real robot) passed out. It was about 96 degrees so I can only imagine how hot it was in that tin can. After winning the Veto everyone was on Frank like stink on a Natalie. Joe went to him for reassurance. Wil, Ashley & Jenn hatched a plan to get him to put Dan up. And by plan I mean nothing. They went to see Frank and basically said that getting rind of Wil or Joe is a waste and you need to pull big moves. I do find it funny that the people that fly under the radar and do nothing, always try to get other people to pull big moves instead of doing it themselves. What Ashley & Wil were doing was trying to convince Frank to do what he already wanted to. Frank has been itching to put Dan up and was looking for any excuse to do it. It's Always Been A Matter Of Trust Somehow the sense that did not warn Britney about the Brigade told her something was up with Frank so she sent Ian up to talk to him. Frank told our nerd that he wanted to put up Dan. Surprisingly Ian, who has almost no social skills laid out some valid points about the benefits of not putting up Dan. Good job Ian. Later when Boogie was talking to Frank the idea of Dan was broached again. Boogie tells him it is too early to do this. They would be slitting their own throats. Frank says Dan wants him out and he’s worried. Boogie tells Frank that if Dan were to get him out later Dan would have to deal with the revenge that Boogie would dish out. Somehow Frank saw that if that happened, he’s be out of the house and couldn’t win anyway. I hope this was a wake up call to Frank that Boogie does not care if Frank makes it far in the game. Alas the nominations stayed the same, but for once the editing was right. Dan was so close to going up, they did not need to have clever editing this time. What I found funny tonight was the discussion of trust. Wil & Ashley do not trust Frank & Boogie. Dan & Danielle not trust Frank & Boogie. Shane & Britney not trust Frank & Boogie. Ian does not trust Frank & Boogie. I’m not a psychologist but if all those people do not trust Frank & Boogie, why did they vote out Janelle and save Frank? I leave you with this my heat stroked androids, can this season get better? I don’t really think it’s possible. Not counting season 1, this might be the worst season they’ve had. Yeah, I said it. I can’t imagine a scenario where this show gets better. I mean Boogie going out the door will make me feel better, but will the show be good? Even a huge shift like that isn’t going to make a difference. The only thing I’m looking forward to is an incredibly bitchy good-bye speech from Wil. But I’m sure I’ll be disappointed again. Whew, close one for Dan.
Quote:
For Dan's game, I still think Janelle was more trustworthy and if Janelle won HoH this week, he wouldn't even have to sweat, but long term and in retrospect, choosing Frank over Janelle makes sense. Dan doesn't have a great chance of winning except if against Boogie. Both former winners, level playing field. I think Dan would much prefer Janelle in jury, and vice versa, but he needs Boogie more than he needs Janelle so he took the risk to gain Boogie's trust back. Glad it paid off and if not Frank, at least Boogie has his back, at least this week ![]() about Ryan and yay Dan! ![]() |
