I don't think they did; I think I read it somewhere, but don't remember where. In addition I hope the directors learn from their mistakes and don't let people back into the game after the merge.

Hate to break it to you guys but I think the reason for casting Ozzy was to watch a player go to Redemption Island and take it to the end. Matt couldn't do it, but I think they're hoping that Ozzy can. I think he's definitely got a shot too - he's great at swimming challenges and he's excellent at the other stuff too. I think Coach is there just for the entertainment factor.

They both had their chances at redemption. One at Micronesia and the other in Heroes vs. Villains. I really wish they had brought back players who wouldn't be returning for a 3rd time.

They need to bring back people that had to leave because of medical reasons. They are really the ones that need to redeem themselves. They were taken out by unforeseen forces rather than actual game play

Ozzy is yummy, and Coach totally grew on me for reasons I am unable to fathom. In fact, I may have developed a little Coach-crush. So, I'm happy with these choices, much more so than Robsell.

Though I disagree strongly with bringing people back to play against new people, and with bringing people back for a third (or fourth) time, I feel like this last season was so awful that anything they do will be better, so I'm slightly optimistic.

Whoa! Didn't expect these 2, especially not together. I'm not a fan of either, though no complaints against Ozzy! With Coach, eeeh, they let me have my fun last season, so I won't complain yet!

I don't like when they have "repeat" players...no matter who they are. I don't like "redemption island" either. Sounds as if I don't like Survivor much anymore....could be true! LOL

I'm with you. It kind of makes me ill too.

As for their chances, I think Ozzy has a great shot of making merge if he is on a fairly weak (physically at least) team. Like Rob, his tribe will keep him around to keep the tribe strong.

As for Coach, he does have that Phillip thing going for him. Maybe someone will want to take him to the end.
Well, since Coach was a wackjob first I guess Phillip had that Coach thing happening, really... so, in actual fact, Coach really has a Coach thing happening that Phillip was like.
Whatever, I don't want to watch it. I'll watch it, but I won't LIKE it!
