Three Groups of Three

Welcome to the final 9, it's getting close to there only being 5 of you left here. That's why I am giving you all the chance to earn an exemption. You will all be split up into 3 groups of 3. Of those pairs the three people in the pair must decide which of them should get the exemption. They can also decide for neither of them to get the exemption. Here's the catch, only 1 group can get an exemption. So, 2 of the 3 groups must decide for neither to get the exemption. If more than 1 group decide on getting the exemption than the challenge will be failed. Nobody will get an exemption and no FunPoints will be added to the pot. However, if the challenge is passed 50 FunPoints will be added to the pot and the exemptions will be given.

Oh yeah... One more thing.

The Mole has been at work. In this challenge the mole was given the opportunity to destabilize any 2 contestants, including them self if they so chose to. Those contestants cannot receive an exemption in this episode. The two chosen ones are:

Of course, you are all still allowed to communicate with people outside of your group as long as it is not pertaining to this challenge. You all have until Friday, May 18 at 10 PM EST.

UNRELATED NOTES:

There will be NO more extensions on any challenge and/or execution quizzes. I feel my deadlines are fair. Now, if a person specifically requests an extension, then a one time 24 hour extension will be made. However, each person may only request one extension throughout the rest of this game. This is starting no.

I am so confused.

First, you mention groups of three, then you talk about pairs - which means two people and use the word neither - which also implies 2. However, I'll assume a language thing here...so I'll read it as groups, and neither as none of them. I know I make similar mistakes all the time in French & Italian.

Which to me implies that only ONE person will be getting an exemption this round and only from one group. If more than one group gives the exemption to somebody - nobody gets it at all. But then in the next sentence, you say:

Nyuguy, all of those errors you pointed out were grammar errors. This was a challenge that I planned before the game started. This was when I assumed 15 people would be a part of the game and by the time we got to this challenge we would have an even amount of players. So, when I planned this game there were indeed pairs and 2 of the pairs could get an exemption and still pass the challenge. Don't look too much into the grammar mistakes, because they will only confuse you.

To clarify, only one group can give an exemption to one of their players. The other 2 have to all vote to give the exemption to none of the 3 players.

I personally don't want anybody to have it. I mean we're down to 8 nonmoles. I'd rather compete against 8 of you instead of 7 of you. And as I already had an exemption, I know I won't get it anyways

Fair enough I don't think giving one person an exemption is going to make a huge impact with 8 nonmoles still in the game, but I can see where you're coming from.

Seeing that it's majority rules, I think 712 himself will be okay with giving it to him. So if the other groups can all decide not to give anyone an exemption we can succeed for once

Hmm but by that same reasoning Daniel, Acfan and Chirl would be contenders too, right??

We might succeed just as well with any of the others who haven't had an exemption yet imo.

Yes, but in my team I'm certain of one person that's willing to give the exemption away, that person being myself We can decide on like Chirl but I don't trust Skunki or Brendan to give it up, for example.

Well Lan I'm glad you seem to have full trust in yourself at least - I guess that makes one person who feels that way.

I think if Daniel, Acfan and I would agree on anything we would all pretty much stick to what we have agreed on. So I don't think your word is more trustworthy than theirs eg. .. To be quite honest.
