I just saw Funny People last night. It wasn't very funny. There were a few moments (the first 5 minutes were HILARIOUS) but it was all down hill after that. It was just boring. A comedy shouldn't be almost 3 hours long!!!! - ESPECIALLY boring ones... I would wait for the DVD...

I actually liked it. It wasn't a strict comedy like some may expect, it deffintly had dramatic elements. It deffently had funny parts, (Myspace, Ira's roomates, Eminem/James Taylor cameo) Overall it was a good drama with funny moments more so than a straight comedy. If you are expecting a flat out comedy like Apatows other works, you may be dissapointed, but if you are looking for a good heartfelt story, with some comedic elements you may want to check it out.

Quite funny I may add.
I just saw that last night.

I thought it was a very funny movie. Some parts were even hilarious. I think Heigl is a great actress.

I agree.

I waited IMPATIENTLY for Harry Potter to come out and was disappointed. I took the kids to see this today. Don't get me wrong, as a fan, I enjoyed it, but I thoroughly believe that action movies belong on the big screen while everything else can wait for the dvd release lol It was not worth watching at the theater.

I watched the trailer for this today and want to go see this really bad while it's in the theater

The crowds should be thin by now! I enjoyed it, its a little rushed and a lot is left out of course, but I thought they got the gist of it on the screen. Let us know what you think.

OK, I just got back from watching HP. I liked it a lot; with a 2 1/2 hour movie, many parts of the book were omitted but the core remained intact. The Deatheaters were deliciously ominous and Luna Lovegood was terrific.

A small complaint. I saw the Imax 3D version. The screen was massive. Awesome. However, the 3D images were only for the first 15 minutes. I thought it was for the entire movie. The cost? $16.99 instead of the usual $11.99. Those 15 minutes were spectacular.

I just saw a regular version of the film (at a regular price!) but I had to chime in and agree with how great the young actress who plays Luna is. She absolutely nails that part!

Knowing with Nicolas Cage. The plot idea was interesting but the ending was a bit absurd.

I know exactly what you mean. I was actually into it, and was on the edge of my seat, and then it got to the ending, and it was like WTF.

Just saw The Perfect Getaway. It is a clever story and good movie. I really like Steve Zaughn. He is compleltly underrated.
